Join our innovative PayPal Global Customer Services, Business Intelligence team as a Senior Manager to deliver exceptional business insights. You'll be responsible for gathering requirements, testing, and developing data-driven reports, scorecards, and dashboards with advanced visualizations to drive valuable insights.

Job Description:

Your way to impact

  • Partner with engineers and data scientists to guide the development of complex data structures and multi-system processes.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects through their entire lifecycle, from planning and securing team buy-in to risk management, stakeholder communication, and performance monitoring.
  • Integrate diverse data systems to create a unified analytics platform for self-service insights.
  • Collaborate with VOC and analytic resources to assess the cost impacts of pain points and business opportunities, and develop business cases to prioritize necessary changes while providing context for key performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and executing transformational projects that deliver significant positive change.

Your day to day

In your day to day role you will...

  • Design and implement high-quality dashboards and analytical tools.
  • Evaluate data to assess the accuracy and impact of practices and procedures.
  • Develop advanced data models for visualization and self-service, ensuring data integrity.
  • Present clear and  polished presentations and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Create business cases to prioritize necessary changes while providing context for key performance metrics.

What do you need to bring

  • Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, business intelligence, or data analysis, including SQL development with structured and unstructured databases.
  • Project Management Certification (PMI, Prince, etc.) and/or Six Sigma/ Lean Qualification preferred.
  • Strong skills in data analysis using Jupyter Notebooks, Python, or similar tools, and a deep understanding of commercial data for business decisions and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in major reporting technologies such as Tableau, Looker, and MicroStrategy.
