Description of the role and practice

You will collaborate with leading insurance companies and banks in the Nordics, helping them shape digital strategies, drive business transformation, and tackle challenges such as sustainability, operational efficiency, and customer-centric innovation. 

Our team, with its diverse backgrounds and capabilities, has expertise across all areas of banks and insurance companies.  

Depending on your background and experience, you will join as either a Management Consultant or Management Consulting Manager. In both cases, you’ll work closely with colleagues and clients to design and deliver high impact solutions. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Analyzing and conceptualizing business models, processes, and digital solutions 

• Developing and implementing strategies to address clients’ most critical challenges 

• Leading or contributing to project delivery in both smaller and larger engagements 

• Supporting, mentoring, and developing colleagues within the team 

• Collaborating across the broader Accenture Financial Services community to bring the best of Accenture to our clients

Job requirements

We welcome applications from professionals with 4-8 years of relevant experience in financial services. You may already be in consulting, or you may bring experience from the insurance or banking sector and want to transition into consulting. 

In the recruitment process we primarily focus on three things: 

• Your consulting toolbox and problem-solving skills 

• Your industry knowledge in financial services (insurance is a plus, but banking or related experience also counts) 

• Your leadership qualities - whether that’s leading a project, coaching colleagues, or simply taking initiative in challenging situations 

We would like to see that you have: 

• A Master’s degree with an excellent academic record 

• Passion for Financial Services—insurance and pension expertise is a plus, but not a must 

• Experience from business or IT–related change projects, ideally with project management or leadership exposure 

• Knowledge of core financial services processes (e.g., product development, underwriting, claims, lending, payments, distribution) 

• Familiarity with digital solutions such as web apps, automation, or intelligent operations 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English (Swedish fluency is a must for this role)
