About the Role

As an Account Strategist, you will support the implementation of the sales strategy, working closely with Revenue leadership in the New York Office. This role will gather and analyze account-specific information needed to develop and execute activity that supports growth for our advertiser base. This includes working with existing sales team members on project management, identifying new opportunities for business development, campaign launch trends and strategies, programmatic trouble shooting, and support development of key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Help establish sales operating cadence through weekly and monthly business reviews and play a large role in conducting sales analyses, account analysis, industry trends, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional organizations to drive alignment and collaboration on the execution and achievement of key business and account goals on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Help manage the sales planning processes, including the development of business plans, potential operating models, market segmentation, and territory design.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely follow-ups and resolution of customer queries.
  • Analyze sales and account information, including activity and performance, for actionable learnings
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of sales quotes and opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of trends and customer feedback to assist in strategic planning and process improvement.
  • Support the management of sales tracking tools and report generation to monitor sales activities and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Experience in sales support, administration, or a similar role, ideally in a media or technical setting.
  • Proficient with CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, Excel/G Sheets
  • Ability to analyze complex data problems and derive actionable insights 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical aptitude or ability to quickly learn detailed product specifications.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
