Position Overview

Apollo Capital Solutions (“ACS”) anchors the Firm’s capital markets and syndication efforts. As one centralized team, ACS partners with each of the Apollo’s investment businesses to provide capital markets expertise, structuring, execution and ultimately drive syndication efforts on investments across the Credit, Hybrid, and Equity spectrum. ACS is seeking an Analyst to work as part of the Equity Capital Markets strategic co-invest business. The successful candidate will play an active and integral role in the execution and syndication of all opportunistic equity co-investment opportunities, contributing to the firm’s broader equity capital markets strategy.

Responsibilities:​

  • Contribute to the strategic opportunistic equity capital markets / co-invest business build within Apollo Capital Solutions

  • Support senior-level capital markets professionals to syndicate all opportunistic equity co-investment opportunities

  • Collaborate directly with investment professionals to determine, recommend and structure co-underwrite and co-investment opportunities

  • Support all aspects of co-invest deal execution, including providing leverage to deal teams, managing due diligence questions, maintaining call notes, overseeing data room management, and liaising with legal teams

  • Maintain relationships with co-investors and syndication partners

  • Track and manage outreach data in detailed co-invest CRM for all co-investment opportunities and preferences to assist with fundraising and investor targeting strategies

  • Develop a deep level of understanding of Apollo’s opportunistic equity strategies and value creation investment strategy

  • Provide timely insights into private capital markets trends, including what forces are driving the markets, types of investors, equity instruments available, etc.

  • Organize and streamline team-level and portfolio-level data processes and projects

  • Prepare and maintain deal-related marketing materials and analyses

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in either investment banking, private equity investing, or fundraising
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong focus on building relationships and contributing to business growth
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of financial and/or credit and equity analysis, valuation, and primary fundamental research and their application in investment decisions and transaction structuring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with a willingness and ability to work across products or geographic lines
  • High level of motivation and strong attention to detail
  • Thrives in a rigorous, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, 79, and SIE) are a plus but not required - candidates without these licenses will be required to take the necessary exams upon starting the role
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Pay Range

$125,000-150,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
