For our IPC team we are looking for a committed and motivated employee as Junior Buyer (m/w/d),
Location: Eschborn.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue RFQ (Request for Quotation) & PO (Purchase Order) to suppliers in accordance with departmental and company operating procedures & policy
- Review supplier’s quotation and make Sales Offer for internal customers (HQ procurement team)
- Maintain and develop robust relationships with external suppliers/forwarders,
ensuring that they meet our requirements in all procurement aspects - Troubleshoot supply issues by on-site supplier visits, un-/accompanied by HQ counterparts
- Continuously expand responsibilities by managing numerous supplier categories and conducting Sourcing activities
- Source and evaluate new potential suppliers with competitive TQRDC (Technology, Quality, Response, Delivery, and Cost) to alleviate risks from suppliers with persistent issues
- nitiate development projects and create businesses by achieving project adoption and design win (commercialization) through internal proposal of competitive potential suppliers
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Engineering or Science from a reputable university (Technical background), abundant internship experience but limited to 1 year of career experience preferred; Typical entry point for university graduates
- Write and speak Korean and English at a high level of professional fluency, able to persuade and influence HQ/supplier with advanced social skills
- German/EU work visa and driving license holder, accustomed to European business culture, market and local customs, able to travel frequently and navigate within Europe and Korea
- Excellent communication at all levels with international suppliers and internal customers along with networking and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability equipped with numerical/analytical skills
- Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
- Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures
- Normally receives detailed instructions on all work
