About the Role
DevOps Engineers are essential when it comes to keeping both our customers and engineering team running. As part of the Cloud Platform and DevOps group you will work on products critical to our operations and software that proactively detects issues with systems in the data centre, in the cloud, or at customer sites.

The senior DevOps Engineer here at Vectra AI designs and implements pipelines and tools to ensure continuous integration, delivery, and deployment for our products and ensure reliability and availability on production infrastructure. Automation is at the forefront of anything we do!
- Define and implement tools that enable other teams to follow DevOps and SRE standard processes
- Own and maintain critical production infrastructure focusing on availability, reliability and security
- Own and deliver a suite of platform services consumed by internal partners across teams and functions
- Ensure production deployments are fast, reliable, and safe
- Work with geo-distributed development teams to improve quality and time-to deploy
- Help with the daily management of the team
What Will Impress Us
- Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- Hands-on DevOps experience
- Hands-on operational experience on production environments
- Belief in DevOps and Agile principles
- Strong container/serverless experience (Kubernetes, Helm)
- Passionate for automation!
- Comfort in dealing with Cloud deployments, networking, and security standard processes
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Hands on experience on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Linux system proficiency

- GovCloud experience
- Proficient knowledge of Python language
- Experience on Hashicorp ecosystem - Terraform, Packer
- Experience in managing production level databases (RDS, DynamoDB, MariaDB)
- Experience with Security activities (vulnerability scan, monitoring and management)
- Strong experience with telemetry tools/pipelines (metrics, logs, and traces)
