The Opportunity

This position works from our offices in Woodmead for the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division , who are responsible for live saving diagnostic tests across Africa, focusing on diseases such as HIV, TB and other infectious diseases.

The Medical Affairs Intern will support all in-country studies for in-country product adoption and Support with capturing monthly KPI Metrices development

  • Support with overseeing all product evaluations/studies whilst acting as a reference point for medical and scientific evaluation/study queries.
  • Tracking and reporting out; regionally and globally on all product evaluations/studies
  • Compilation and execution of all clinical study contracts
  • Support with capturing of monthly KPI metrices for the department.
  • Formulate all request letters for Medical and scientific affairs.
  • Supporting other departments with training requirements.
  • Support with following on payment and commencement of studies.
  • Support training of commercial teams, distributors and customers on product clinical performance

Qualifications and Experience  :

  • Must Have a minimum of undergrad of A Medical or Human life Sciences Scientific qualification preferred. - THIS MUST BE ALREADY COMPLETED
  • Ideal candidate would have little to no work experience, as this is an internship.
  • Must not have done a formal internship previously .
