JOB DESCRIPTION

Education and Training

Experience

The following experience is considered desirable but not mandatory:

  • 5+ years of experience in working in the automotive industry.
  • 5+ years of experience working within supply chain functions
  • 3+ years of plant level experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with modeling, analysis and simulations tools.
  • Experience with JDA/Blue Yonder/DDMRP planning software
  • Tenured membership of professional organizations, trade or user groups, and a pattern of regular attendance at industry conferences to enhance knowledge of supply chain planning.

Job Description

The following experience is considered essential:

  • Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals for a single unit with multiple suppliers
  • Support all functions within IDSP and Supply Chain
  • Support Supply Plan KPI’s related to IDSP
  • Align with Supply Chain Director(s) on IDSP strategies
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain Execution Team, Supply Chain Planning Team and Operations on various project opportunities
  • Support standardization across region
  • Participates in and oversees projects that influence the direction and execution of SCM process
  • Support capacity studies
  • Perform analysis as required
  • Tracking and closure of all open issues related to ongoing supply projects and initiatives

This position will support the IDSP/Central Planning projects and initiatives including all system, data and business-related projects.  May have to support or direct one or more projects at once. Ability to travel up to 30% is required.
