• Translate consumer flavor data into actionable insights to support product leadership, brand strategy, and go-to-market planning.
• Partner with marketing and commercial teams to ensure the consumer voice is embedded in strategic initiatives within the Research and Development Department.
• Create a strong feedback loop to ensure innovation and achieve our mission, winning with flavor.
• Monitor and analyze competitor activities, breeding programs, grower uptake, market trends, and emerging technologies.
• Develop competitive global landscape reports and strategic briefings on new berry varieties being patented for leadership and product teams.
• Collaborate with global business units and deployment managers to identify threats and opportunities across regions.
• Act as a strategic partner to Research & Development Teams, Marketing, and Product Leadership teams across all global business units.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment between global and regional teams to ensure insights are leveraged globally.
• Support strategic planning and innovation roadmaps with data-driven recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or competitive intelligence.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization and storytelling.
• Experience in agriculture, food, or CPG industries.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Experience managing third-party research providers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and Berry business acumen.
• Experience Managing People: 5+ years.
• Travel availability (30% national and international).
Compensation and Benefits
The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.
Salary Range estimated for the Global Consumer & Competitive Insights Manager: $103,560/year to $135,628/year.
