Job Summary

Responsible for validating product quality by analyzing and testing the quality of the code base. Focuses on writing code that will be executed in an automated and repeatable fashion which will reduce manual testing efforts and increase code quality and consistency. Develops and maintains code that validates front-end, middleware and database systems, using the latest tools and programming languages. Partners with software engineers to write efficient automation code using coding standards and best practices. Works with engineering team to deliver automated tests that satisfy product automation requirements. Executes automated code and creates written summary test reports for team. Repair intermediate complexity broken automation scripts. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Core Responsibilities

• Salesforce QA, Salesforce Industry Vlocity, Tibco Platform, Kenan, Oracle, Kong, SAP, AWS, Opentext Products, Katalon, Appium.

  Technical design assessment and evaluation, risk-based Quality Assurance in web-scale environments​

  Expertise in multiple programming and markup languages, such as Apex/Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, SQL, XML, JSON, YAML, and Python ​

  Continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies and tools is a must​

  Unit, integration, system, smoke and user acceptance testing​

  Architectural element testing e.g. APIs​

  Well Versed with Test Management Tools as ALM Octane to track, manage and report Test and Defects​

  Tracks and communicates task progress, status, and key metrics​

  Report defects found in testing diligently, promptly, and accurately, using standard defect tracking tools and analytically examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes​

  Code reviewing​

  Test analytics and trend analysis and Test Management tool​

  Software incident and problem management​

  Experience as a user/tester and basic admin on Salesforce Platform.​

  Competent working with cloud-native architectures, including public cloud PaaS / IaaS, micro-services architectures, APIs​

  Media/Digital business process Knowledge ​

  Telecom Background : Must
