The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is responsible for shaping and delivering an integrated and consistent approach to the Group’s data, analytics and AI capability.

We help our business partners within the group extract value out of their data better and faster to ensure they can meet and predict the ever-changing needs of our customers.


Do work that matters

This Senior Manager in our team will flow to work across the CDAO team and help deliver the narrative across the team and in the group.
 

In this capacity, you will support the Executive Manager in Data & Analytics Practice and play a pivotal role in executing CDAO’s communication plans and driving proactive engagement within the team as well as supporting initiatives across the change.

On any given day, you will:

  • Create and deliver communication strategies across a portfolio of areas and may also contribute to the delivery of strategies and plans to support CBA Group-wide campaigns and initiatives.

  • Work closely with members of the CDAO leadership teams to oversee and manage communications activity, and create and drive compelling narratives, campaigns and internal communication opportunities.

  • Provide leadership and direction in responding to issues that could affect CBA’s reputation.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Significant experience in an internal focused communications role within a listed company, issues-rich and highly regulated environment, managing business communication strategy and implementation

  • Experience in data, analytics and AI (highly advantageous)

  • Change management and employee engagement experience (desirable)

  • A track record in developing, implementing, and measuring integrated and coordinated communication strategies

  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to simplify complex messages

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to work with multiple teams and functions to deliver strong outcomes.

  • Strong issue management experience
