Key Responsibilities

• Ability to lead and develop a cross-country organization with strength in medical, data generation, access, clinical practice, and scientific expertise.
• Ability to motivate and engage an organization and lead through transformation (i.e., early assets, launch, integration, divestiture, new partnerships).
• Strong external customer focus and the ability to rapidly build a comprehensive and efficient network of external relationships.
• Ability to lead and influence at the company level, cooperating with global matrix functions, commercial teams and R&D teams.

• Excellent communication skills, and ability to represent BMS and complex scientific data at medical meetings and congresses or other external presentations (ex. Payers).
• Depth of knowledge in specialty care therapeutic areas.
• Driving leadership and strategy in gaining access across European market.
• Ability to lead Alliance partnerships across markets.
• Ensuring compliance in a dynamic business environment.
• Driving leadership in Talent & Culture management. Embedding the BMS People Strategy and ensuring employee engagement, attraction, development, and retention.
• Frequent travel.

Qualifications & Experience

• With 5+ years of pharmaceutical leadership experience, MD preferred.
• Experience building and delivering Medical capabilities in a complex global organization
• Demonstrated track record of leadership in a complex, matrix environment. Experience delivering successful results in a variety of business situations.
• Successful track record of leading through influence and working across complex, global organizational matrices.
• Successful track record in change management and inspiring innovation.
• Fluency in English

On-site Protocol
BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
