About the Job 

 

Working with GTM Leadership on a daily basis and reporting to the SVP, Sales, the Go-To-Market (GTM) Director of Sales Excellence will lead strategy for the entire GTM function. This person will partner closely with the other Directors & Operations Leaders to drive cross-functional alignment and execution across the business. The Director of Sales Excellence also serves as a trusted confidant privy to highly sensitive information providing strategic leverage. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with hyper-organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.  

 

This role will necessitate the ability to work independently on projects from conception to completion and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. The ideal candidate must enjoy working within a fast-growing dynamic environment. Beyond that, the Director of Sales Excellence embodies the best of the company’s culture and serves as an ambassador for the SVP, Sales. Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Work closely and effectively with the SVP on strategy & planning, bringing forward insight and proposals based on their own analysis of the business and team.   

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product leadership to drive strategic programs, deliver operational excellence, and respond to changing needs of the business. 

  • Serves as a trusted confidant to highly sensitive information, a lot of the time knowing more than other executives, who are the SVPs direct reports.   

  • On-going analysis and implementation of operating rhythms to ensure leaders and teams are focused on the right metrics and focus areas.  

  • Serve as a liaison to the Executive Team and key business partners. Communicate directly, when asked, on behalf of the SVP with ELT, Partners, and Board Members on matters related to SVPs initiatives.  

  • Heavily involved in executive team meetings, serving as a key interface with other executive team members to ensure their meetings are productive and actionable.  

  • Partner with Finance and Ops on key business health metrics and long-range planning initiatives. 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 10+ years’ experience in GTM Strategy & Sales Leadership 

  • Deep understanding of roles and responsibilities of GTM functions 

  • Demonstrable skills related to leading complex, highly visible executive level projects 

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and on stringent timelines 

  • Impeccable interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders, including staff, Board members, investors, external partners, and clients, etc. 

  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently 

  • Professional demeanor and ability to demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response 

  • Capable of acting proactively, and anticipating the needs of the executive, keeping ten steps ahead. 

  • Ability to use a high degree of confidentiality with sensitive information 

  • Ability to anticipate and resolve problems with impeccable problem-solving skills 

  • Growth mindset, professional maturity and an ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment.  

  • Great written and verbal communication skills 

  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite 

  • 50% travel and an ability to support SVP’s GTM Strategy, Sales Productivity and Excellence needs

Compensation Range

$178,000 - $237,000 - $296,000

The base salary range for this role at minimum, midpoint and maximum is shown above. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired close to or at the maximum of the salary range. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay also depends on the relative experience, knowledge, skills to our internal peers in the role.  Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s  discretionary bonus plan, commission plan and/or equity plan, depending on role.
