This position works out of our Spain location in the Nutrition division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As a Field Trainer you’ll have to deliver programs on time and within budget, fulfill annual sales plan, attain market share goals and plan sales forecasts to succed in the role.
What You’ll Do
Provide training and skills development for Sales Representatives in the field, aligned with the company's strategy and with the objectives of the Comex department
Partners with marketing, sales associates, sales managers and training leadership to assess, design and deliver training solutions to meet the objectives identified
Executes blended training programs at initial sales training, national meetings, regional meetings, and other events. Creates agenda, builds tactics, organizes speakers and handles logistics for program design and delivery
With management direction, will research, write and distribute background product information to supplement recently published articles, answer frequently asked questions and gain a further understanding of competitive issues
Evaluates classroom curriculum and works with training leadership to keep training current and relevant for the field
Stays current with training technology by attending professional meetings and trainer development events
Proactively assess knowledge gaps within field teams and in collaboration with appropriate colleagues, work to address gaps through training initiatives and programs
Continuously evaluate and measure the effectiveness of current training programs and identify improvements that serve to sustain and improve comprehension, application and competence
Partner with commercial team leaders, and HR Business Partners to identify skills and competencies needed to strengthen the company’s pipeline of talent
Performs other duties as assigned
Coordinate individual and team performance review sessions to discuss strengths and weaknesses.
Report on impact of training programs (e.g. sales achieved)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Experience in a learning & development, sales training or marketing role with at least 1 year of corporate office-based capacity
Experience with developing and delivering training, managing meetings, managing vendors and budgets
Experience in a sales position is a plus
Learning management systems experience
Curriculum design experience
Good knowledge of English
Availability to travel throughout Spain according to the needs of the business.
Prefered Quaifications
Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other commonly used programs
Must be adept at creating and delivering effective presentations
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, sales force management, sales force expansion, and tactical implementation
Excellent organizational skills

Ability to facilitate meetings and trainings of all sizes
Strong internal communication, keeping others informed of decisions, changes, objections, budgets and priorities
Ability to create clear, concise, well-organized and grammatically correct written documents
Ability to develop business relationships with key internal and external customers – specifically Sales, Marketing, Copy Approval, and Vendor management
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, gathering appropriate level of resources including budget, people, and vendors, and communicate project updates effectively
Skills in instructional design and presentation design and delivery
High degree of written and oral communication skills
In-depth knowledge of or training in adult education techniques
