As a Tariff Classification Analyst, you will work in an energetic team to ensure the effectiveness of the classification processes.

Your job duties may include:

  • Assigning Tariff Classification for all Caterpillar lines of products and their parts, dealer tools, and all associated goods moving across borders for the enterprise
  •  Identifying/ Impacting the admissibility into destination country, duties owed, quotas, special trade program eligibility,  sanctions, etc
  • Being responsible for providing and applying accurate Import and Export Tariff Classification using either the Harmonized Tariff Schedule for Europe -TARIC, U.S Customs Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Dubai tariff book, South Africa tariff book (and the similar versions from other countries)
  • Cooperating with other divisions to ensure the effectiveness of processes (Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics)
  • Having regular contact with requestors and external customers

You will have:

  • Good analytical skills and the ability to transform numerical data into information
  • Knowledge of technical drawings and specification
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Polish
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
  • Open-minded personality

Top candidates also have:

  • Experience in Tariff Classification and knowledge of the general processes
  • A Customs Broker License is a plus
