Job Description

The Account Consultant serves as a primary service and strategic support partner for clients within the employee benefits and health insurance space. This role is responsible for delivering a high level of customer service, supporting Account Executives, and ensuring accurate, timely, and proactive management of employee benefit plans. The Account Consultant plays a critical role in client retention, renewal execution, and day-today client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

● Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and timely resolution of benefit-related questions and issues.

● Support Account Executives in managing client relationships, renewal strategies, and ongoing service needs.

● Coordinate and execute annual renewals, including gathering census data, preparing renewal materials, reviewing carrier proposals.

● Liaise with insurance carriers, vendors, and issue resolution.

● Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and activity/RFP tracking within agency management.

● Identify opportunities to improve service processes and enhance the overall client experience.

● Build strong, long-term client relationships through responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

● Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent industry experience).

● Experience in employee benefits, health insurance brokerage, or benefits administration preferred. ● Strong working knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, and ancillary benefit plans.

● Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

● High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

● Proficiency with benefits administration systems, carrier portals, and CRM tools.

● Life and Health insurance license (or ability to obtain, if required).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable federal, state, and local standards.

• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

• Ability to communicate clearly via telephone and virtual platforms.

• Ability to remain stationary (sitting or standing) approximately 75% of the time.

• Occasional movement within the office to access equipment and resources.

Work Environment

Remote work may be optional or required during inclement weather or public health emergencies. Employees must have access to a stable internet connection and an appropriate home workspace

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $0 - $0. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
