The purpose of this position is to drive a single number mindset by coordinating Demand Planning activities with Commercial, Finance and Supply teams, and to drive initiatives for improvements and process simplification, automation and compliance in areas of Demand Planning and related processes.

Your Responsibilities: This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main ones are:

  • Operates the volume forecasting process within the Supply Chain Operating Model supporting the Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) for entire portfolio.
  • Responsible for historical data cleansing (liaising with the commercial teams) as input for statistical forecast performed by Demand CoE
  • Supports Demand Forecasting Planners (Global Demand CoE) with Market Intelligence for statistical forecast models definition.
  • Provide strong business partnering and work across functions (LOC Marketing and Finance Teams) to lead the monthly Pre-DRM & DRM meetings to discuss baseline forecasts volume and agree any forecast adjustments along with their assumptions covering entire portfolio capturing the Unconstrained and constrained Volume.
  • Liaise with the commercial and marketing teams to capture comprehensive total volume forecast including New Product Introduction, and Tenders.
  • Prepares forecast inputs into the key Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings including Demand Review, feeding through to Supply Review and regional S&OP meetings.
  • Accountable for driving performance in demand forecasting KPIs by performing a detailed root cause analysis and working with commercial and finance organizations to take corrective actions.
  • Supports the demand lead for strategic global and regional projects that will use demand forecasting as a lever to unlock further benefits in GSK's supply chain including Inventory Reduction, FG write-off reduction, ERP and process enhancements, Supply Chain Transformation etc.
  • Promotes a ‘one number’ mindset to drive business decision-making and forecast transparency / functional accountability.
  • Ensure system compliance, maintaining the Market Intelligence data and timely release of the forecast volume data to finance/commercial and supply chain teams.
  • Work with the Supply chain Process and Capability champion to drive the future improvements and process simplification in Demand Forecasting.

Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Sciences or similar
  • 6+ years of experience in Demand Planning roles
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Good knowledge of Supply chain disciplines like supply planning, distribution planning, inventory management and procurement .
  • Excellent knowledge of excel and power BI expected
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and good stakeholder         management.
  • Data Analytics and statistical forecasting knowledge

Preferred Qualifications: However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:

  • MBA from reputed institute / APICS Certification
  • SAP
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry
