Arts & Sciences Learning Design & Technology Department seeks Student Testing Proctors to support the Computer-Based Testing Facility (CBTF) during the Fall 2026 term. Proctors play a critical role in delivering secure, high-quality testing experiences for students and faculty, including computer-based exams, paper-based exams, and SDAC-accommodated testing. This is a high-demand, detail-oriented position in a secure testing environment with significant responsibility, providing exam integrity, procedural fidelity, and excellent customer service.
Students are strongly preferred to begin the week before classes start (approximately August 20, 2026) through the Fall 2026 semester to assist with exam space setup, system checks, and procedural preparation. Some students may have the opportunity to work earlier in the summer if they can dedicate sufficient time to refining training, center processes, procedures, and workshops.
To carry out the following duties:

Undergrad student wage position for up to 20 hours per week during the semester.

Graduate students may be eligible for higher pay based on responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
