We are currently seeking entry level candidates to fill the position of Software Engineer in the Onvio Technology organization. As a developer, you will work closely with a very experienced scrum team to develop an application used as an industry-leading tax application.

About the Role: 

As a Software Engineer, you will: 

  • Perform product design, system analysis, and implement necessary software changes and enhancements. 

  • Collaborate with the team Software Engineers and Analysts, as well as across teams, to establish requirements and develop solutions. 

  • Assist Analysts in researching reported issues, verifying bugs, and testing changes for release.

  • Document bugs, fixes, and enhancements in the applicable tracking systems.

  • Work both independently, and as part of a development team, on various projects of varying size and scope concurrently. 

About You:

You are a fit for the role of Software Engineer if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is required.

  • 2 to 4 years of experience with C#.NET and good to have working knowledge on .NET Core 6 and above, good to have experience in designing cloud-native applications.

  • Strong working knowledge on REST, ASP.NET Web Apl, LINQ, Design Patterns and Redis, Good to have knowledge on data logging and monitoring tools like ELK, Datadog.

  • Angular 2+ (Preferrable most recent versions like Angular 15+)

  • Experience with SQL Server, and Postgres databases.

  • Experience with Git source control.

  • Sound understanding of project management and code versioning tools (i.e., GitHub, Azure DevOps)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging experience.

  • Strong knowledge of SOLID principles and object-oriented programming.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Integrations experience (REST APIs) 

  • SQL or PostgreSQL 

  • Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Elasticsearch and standard microservice patterns are a plus
