Product Owner -Devops/DevX

As a DevX Product Owner, you will be responsible for owning and continuously improving the developer experience across the EDO SW Performance organization. You will act as the voice of the developer, ensuring that tools, processes, and environments are optimized for productivity, satisfaction, and quality. This role blends traditional product ownership with a deep focus on internal user needs, requiring both technical insight and strong interpersonal skills.

You will also play a key role in identifying and leveraging AI technologies to enhance the developer experience and optimize the entire development lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the DevX vision and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with developers, engineering leaders, and platform teams to identify pain points and opportunities.
• Prioritize and manage the DevX backlog, balancing quick wins with strategic improvements.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve CI/CD pipelines, development environments, and internal tooling.
• Facilitate feedback loops and measure impact through developer satisfaction metrics and performance KPIs.
• Act as a DevX ambassador, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify and evaluate AI technologies and solutions that can improve developer workflows, automation, and productivity.
• Share AI-driven improvements across teams and promote adoption of AI-enhanced tools and practices.
• Leverage AI across the entire development loop, from planning and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Your Background

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development environments.
• Strong understanding of developer workflows, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical challenges into actionable product requirements.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and CI/CD platforms, Windriver Studio, Grafana etc.
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in AI technologies, including their application in software development processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience working in large-scale, distributed software organizations.
• Familiarity with developer experience metrics and internal product adoption strategies.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks, platforms, or tools relevant to software engineering and DevOps.
