What You’ll Get to Do:
As CACI-SOAS Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) Instructor/Team Lead is the senior instructor and responsible for overall workforce performance and the day-to-day operations of training, training development, management, and maintenance of CEMA and Electronic Warfare (EW) equipment and networks within 1st SFC(A) and its Command Subordinate Units (CSU). As Team Lead you will coordinate and synchronize efforts to evaluate, refine, and/or enhance project scope, outcomes, and deliverables with the Project Lead ensuring the Performance Monitor (PfM) and 1st SFC(A) operational and training requirements are met. Team Lead will perform analysis, reviews, and evaluations to ensure Digital Force Protection (DFP), CEMA, and EW threats, trends, and capabilities are incorporated in current and/or revised curriculum and address the specific regions within 1st SFC(A) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Team Lead will coordinate with United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), and Interagency partners to synchronize current, trending, and emerging DFP, CEMA, and EW activities, training, training development, and procurement requirements within 1st SFC(A) and CSUs.
More About the Role:
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage CEMA instructors / Lab Technicians at Command Subordinate Units (CSU) under this task order to ensure performance to contractual standards.
- Provide foundational digital skills training and digital force protection training according to established programs of instruction.
- Assess and develop training programs and informational products based on research and analysis of the cybersecurity and electromagnetic threat environment in priority locations throughout AOR to present analysis and train personnel through briefings, classroom or field environments.
- Assess CEMA Lab equipment and training environment needs and recommend optimal solutions based on the nature of the training requirements, other available resources, and the time available.
- Procure EW, Tactical Cyberspace equipment, Virtual Training, and supplies when validated requirements are approved by 1st SFC(A) Tactical Cyberspace Program Manager.
- CONUS and OCONUS travel to support their specific requirements. Maintain telephone and email contact during travel.
- Assist Government in tactical cyberspace and EW knowledge management for the command, maintain individual and collective training records, including CONOPs and after-action reports (AARs) of collective training.
- Participate in 1st SFC(A) and higher echelons tactical cyberspace & EW policy and standards development efforts to maintain alignment and ensure that higher policy reflects the requirements of their CSU
- Maintain a positive and professional learning environment, address curriculum gaps, and collaborate with Government on student behavior and attendance concerns.
- Facilitate implementation of approved changes to the 1st SFC’s foundational digital skills and Digital Force Protection training programs.
- Proficient with data entry and database maintenance, MS Office applications, and local area networks.
- Proficient with small office networking equipment configuration, server provisioning and maintenance, and provisioning of virtual environments to use in skills training.
- Conduct open-source research, cybersecurity, and penetration testing skills and best practices.
- Maintain a Top Secret//Sensitive Compartmented information (SCI) clearance.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Current Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Minimum of 15 years of military/DOD experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Special Operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience of training and exercise development and delivery.
- Experience with Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA).
- Experience with Digital Force Protection (DFP) training.
- Working knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) and tactical Cyberspace equipment/systems (Beast, Beast+, Kraken, Spectrum Guard, etc.).
- Willing to work flexible hours in various garrison and field environments.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated familiarization with the Army Training Management Program and large-scale, enterprise-wide training programs.
- Experience integrating information, analysis, technology, and interagency collaboration, lessons learned, and best practices for training support to enable effective and efficient dissemination of threat training.
- Demonstrated operational or institutional training domain experience and integration across Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership & Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF).

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$63,700 - $134,000
