Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

The Purpose of This Role

As a Lead Software Engineer in Architecture Technology Foundation of AM Tech India you will play an important role in integrating cloud-hosted solutions for Asset Management. You will be accountable for building services, frameworks, and common build/deployment pipelines for the next UI Platform.

The Technology Foundations (TF) group provides ready-to-use solutions composed of a standard technology stack, development frameworks, reusable software components and services. The ideal candidate must be a solid team player with a strong understanding of the application delivery cycle: design, development, build, and deployment.

The candidate will play an important role in developing integrated cloud-hosted solutions, working on one of our Technology Foundations Products, Opinionated Deployment Pipelines, Gen AI Foundation and Services.

BU Overview –

Asset Management Technology (AMT)   supports the Information Technology needs of several investment management organizations within Fidelity Investments, including FMRCo, FIL Investment Management, Pyramis, and Strategic Advisors. There are several technology teams in US / India which work together as a delivery team in providing solutions to the business. ATF (Architecture Technology Foundation) is a technology horizontal for AMT that provides shared technology solution and services by working closely with the IT partner teams and understanding their business requirements.

The Expertise we are Looking For

• 6-10 years of relevant IT experience with at-least 4-5 years hands on with Typescript - Angular, HTML5, CSS, Java - Spring boot, EKS, SonarQube, Jest, Playwright

• Deploy applications in AWS cloud-platform: CloudFormation, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM Roles, KMS, CloudWatch

• Hands on knowledge in building docker images and deploying the same to EKS

• Fair understanding of CI/CD tools Jenkins, Jenkins Core, Sonar, GitHub

• Good learning aptitude. Willingness to learn new technologies swiftly

• Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and adaptability

• Provide on-call / level 3 support for infrastructure incidents and alerts

• It is a plus if you are an associate who can join within 30 days

Location: Bangalore - EGL

Shift timings: 11:00 pm - 8:00pm
