What this job involves

The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact on a site responsible for facilities management, assisting the Senior Facilities Manager or Regional Manager with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role will coordinate and manage tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction.

What is your day to day?

• Represent the facilities management function on site and serve as a point of contact for the client for all inquiries • Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the rest of the Facility Management Team and the client • Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the client • Assist with the development and management of the facilities budgets for the buildings and grounds in your scope, by interfacing closely with the client representative • Manage the delivery of the facility services (both hard and soft) through in-house or outsourced teams • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations, communications and needs of corporate tenant areas • Regularly review performance of internal and outsourced teams through KPI management and governance

Desired experience and technical skills

Required • Minimum of 6 years industry experience in either the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant • Strong organizational and management skills within matrixed organizations; oversight of both technical and administrative staff • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong presentation skills • Proficient in MS Office and MS SharePoint • Computer proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systems • Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary • Critical environment/lab experience

Preferred • Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management or equivalent through experience • Knowledge of life sciences industry, office and/or manufacturing facilities • Oversight of multiple facilities with varied functions

Il/La Facilities Manager sarà il punto di contatto unico sul sito responsabile della gestione delle facilities, assistendo il/la Senior Facilities Manager o Regional Manager nella fornitura di servizi di facility management di qualità. Questo ruolo coordinerà e gestirà i requisiti degli inquilini e la fornitura dei servizi per garantire la soddisfazione.

Come si svolge la giornata lavorativa?

• Rappresentare la funzione di facility management sul sito e fungere da punto di contatto per il cliente per tutte le richieste • Sviluppare e implementare programmi, processi e procedure innovative che riducano i costi operativi a breve e lungo termine e aumentino la produttività, collaborando strettamente con il resto del Team di Facility Management e con il cliente • Supervisionare la reportistica mensile/trimestrale/annuale appropriata per il cliente • Assistere nello sviluppo e nella gestione dei budget delle facilities per gli edifici e i terreni di competenza, interfacciandosi strettamente con il rappresentante del cliente • Gestire l'erogazione dei servizi di facility (sia hard che soft) attraverso team interni o in outsourcing • Garantire il regolare svolgimento delle operazioni quotidiane, comunicazioni e necessità delle aree tenant aziendali • Rivedere regolarmente le performance dei team interni e in outsourcing attraverso la gestione dei KPI e la governance

Esperienza e competenze tecniche desiderate

Requisiti • Minimo 6 anni di esperienza nel settore in ambiente aziendale, come fornitore di servizi terzi o come consulente • Solide competenze organizzative e di gestione all'interno di organizzazioni matriciali; supervisione di personale sia tecnico che amministrativo • Eccellenti competenze di comunicazione verbale e scritta • Solide competenze di presentazione • Competenza in MS Office e MS SharePoint • Competenza informatica nei sistemi CMMS/Work Order • Supervisionare le performance dei fornitori durante l'orario normale e fuori orario, inclusi i weekend quando necessario • Esperienza in ambienti critici/laboratori

Preferibili • Laurea in Facility Management o equivalente attraverso l'esperienza • Conoscenza del settore life sciences, facilities per uffici e/o manifatturiere • Supervisione di multiple facilities con funzioni diverse
