As a Senior Project Manager in our ANZ Programme Office, you'll lead projects that genuinely matter, from launching new product offerings to orchestrating complex platform migrations that directly impact how people invest and trade.'

You'll work on high-profile strategic initiatives that span new system integrations, platform enhancements, and client migrations.

You'll report directly to the Head of Programme Management ANZ and regularly present to steering committees that include external stakeholders. You'll work alongside talented business analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders who value your expertise and partnership.

What you’ll be working on

Your focus will be end-to-end delivery of strategic projects that drive CMC's success in the ANZ market. You'll manage the complete project lifecycle - from initial scoping through to successful launch and beyond.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with CMC Group delivery teams and ANZ stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities across the region
• Developing clear project scopes and objectives that translate business needs into actionable programmes aligned with our business roadmap
• Leading cross-functional project teams through each phase of delivery, ensuring quality outcomes that meet requirements
• Monitoring and reporting on risks, issues, and progress to the Head of ANZ Programme Office and steering committees
• Coordinating internal resources and external partners to guarantee successful project execution
• Establishing strong relationships with clients and partners as their day-to-day contact point
• Conducting detailed project planning, milestone tracking, and regular status reporting including performance and risk metrics
• Defining and executing change management initiatives, from communication strategies through to training and launch plans
• Working closely with business analysts, software engineers, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions

What will help you be successful?

• 10+ years’ experience in the Wealth Management and Stockbroking industry delivering projects and technology solutions.
• Experience converting strategy into actionable project plans.
• Understanding of both agile and waterfall development methodologies and full SDLC.
• Project Management certification or accreditation e.g. Certified Practicing Project Manager (via AIPM) and/or Project. Management Professional (via PMI) and/or Prince 2 Practitioner.
• You must hold full working rights in Australia to be eligible for this role.
