Summary (About this Position):

SAP Power User is responsible to manage supply chain master data across all North America plants, lead SAP implementations on the Procure-to-Pay side, as well as supporting supply chain team on data analysis and reporting. Also responsible to identify and audit SAP information periodically to ensure information is compliant with business processes and SOX (where applicable).

Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities):

  • SAP Purchasing Master Data Maintenance (Purchase Orders and Material Masters).         
  • Contract Management Support.
  • Lead, coordinate and support the Purchase Orders creation/extension/maintenance/communications in SAP.
  • Ensure that SAP Power User creation/re-activation/modification/maintenance of Purchase Orders.
  • Coordinate and Communicate Category Buyer team to finalize next year contracts before November
  • Support Corporate projects and implementations on SCM Process/ Systems topics.
  • Support the corporate team and division to add/maintain suppliers, payment sites.
  • First point of contact for Supply Chain on ERP related implementations (system conversions, divestitures, new plants, etc.).
  • Design business processes related to PTP (procure to pay workflow) along with global counterparts.
  • Develop/ Maintain scripts for mass uploads/ data extraction on SAP.
  • SAP Data Audits (‘Rules of Thumb’/ SOX).
  • Support North America manufacturing plants on issues with receipts/ ordering.
  • Support Ac Payable resolving ERS and retro pricing errors.       
  • Coordinate yearly standard price analysis/ submission with purchasing and finance teams.
  • IT Management
  • Support the MTC team by providing the tools (hardware/software) to make their job easier and faster.
  • Any other work activity related to your position and/or required by your immediate manager.

Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves):

  • Computer Skills (MS Office & GMS Applications)
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel – Macros preferred        
  • Written and Oral Communication - English Spanish
  • Knowledge in Purchasing
  • Team Work
  • Able to work any shift                                                
  • Solution Driven person
  • Analytic

Your Preferred Background (i.e. Nice to Haves):

  • Experience in Materials Management Module in SAP ECC system.
  • Basic knowledge of Purchasing process.
