Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a new team player, who would like to join our team as:

Senior Accountant Testing Team

(Position is temporary – April, 2028)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our Testing Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial results and compliance during the testing and implementation of new financial systems and processes.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Systems, you will be responsible for planning and executing tests, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth implementation of financial initiatives. This position also requires close collaboration with the Global PMO Team to support successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial testing activities for system updates, implementations, and upgrades.

• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, schedules, and documentation.

• Execute test cases, track progress, and address issues as they arise.

• Analyze and review financial data during testing phases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and established processes.

• Document and report test results, and manage issue resolution to ensure smooth system implementations.

• Collaborate with IT, development, and finance teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounting roles, with strong knowledge of accounting tasks and operational processes.

• Strong understanding of system implementation processes and financial workflows.

• English language skills to communicate with colleagues in Europe and USA.

• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
