Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Responsible for providing a full service banking experience for customers including but not limited to processing customers monetary transactions with the proper audit trails, balancing cash drawer, identifying and addressing customer needs and provides services including opening and servicing all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, money market, CD's and IRA's) accounts, identifying cross-selling opportunities for all Discover umbrella of product offerings, resolves and/or acts as a liaison to other business areas while assisting customers with their inquiries or issues, supports the company by assisting with community/volunteering events. Ensures compliance to all state and federal banking regulators.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Processing customer monetary transactions and balancing cash drawer following all procedures and state and federal regulations.

  • Opening new accounts and servicing customer accounts and inquiries following all procedures and state and federal regulations

  • Supports the company by assisting with community/volunteer events

Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience or related

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management  

  • 4+ years of Customer Service experience or related

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $19.71 to $27.79. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
