We are seeking an experienced Manager, Salesforce Administration, to lead our Scrum-based Salesforce development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Salesforce, a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, and proven experience managing cross-functional teams. This role requires close collaboration with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Architects to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
As the Manager of Salesforce Administration, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Salesforce administration team and lead CRM engineering teams responsible for delivering scalable, reliable, and innovative CRM solutions that support global customer engagement and business growth. You will drive technical strategy, execution excellence, and operational reliability while influencing cross-functional partners to deliver high-value CRM products and services. This role combines people leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and strategic planning in a fast-paced, agile environment.
You will work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master by providing input on prioritization and ensuring the team has the resources needed to meet commitments. You will handle escalations, guide the team on best practices, collaborate with the Technical Salesforce Architect on system design, mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and ensure effective execution and reporting.
Lead and manage Salesforce Scrum teams for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud using the Scrum framework
Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and guidance to team members
Ensure the team stays current with Salesforce technologies, tools, and best practices
Drive platform scalability, reliability, performance, and security
Enforce best practices in Salesforce development, configuration, and release management
Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and own resolution
Translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable user stories
Ensure effective cross-team communication and collaboration
Oversee design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions
Partner with Scrum Master and Product Owners to ensure SDLC adherence
Ensure ongoing maintenance and optimization of Salesforce environment
Support creation and maintenance of training materials
Guide decisions around customization vs. configuration, integrations, data models, and automation
Ensure alignment with enterprise integration patterns, API standards, and cloud strategies
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Relevant Salesforce certifications preferred
8+ years working with CRM systems in a technical or operational capacity
5+ years working as a Salesforce Administrator
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security
Experience with data management and integration tools (Data Loader, Salesforce Connect)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience working in Scrum or other Agile frameworks
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
