Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine warehouse and departmental procedures.
  • Adhere to ISO guidelines in daily activities.
  • Train new employees.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to streamline routine activities.
  • Meet individual and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Lead special projects as assigned by Manager.
  • Ability to work flexible shift, which could include overtime.
  • Interact routinely with management in an effective manner.
  • Actively participate in employee performance review processes.
  • Oversee operation of daily activities.
  • Supervise activities of departmental employees.
  • Cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • Must Maintain a valid driver license at all times.
  • Monitoring of performance levels of the departmental employees.
  • Resolves conflict effectively.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Direct experience with MRP systems and RF scanners.
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Required to operate on site forklifts and company box truck.
  • Requires a valid driver's license

Education and Experience

Education: High school diploma or GED.

3-5 years related work experience.  Supervision experience in a warehouse environment is necessary.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, transfer logs, and shipping instructions, and procedural documents.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform routine, high school level mathematical operations.

Computer Skills: Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, SAP experience preferred as well as the ability to effectively communicate electronically.

 The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
