The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a part-time Mental Health Direct Care Professionals (Residential Services Technician) to join our Residential treatment teams.
This opening is with our Gordon Green adult residential program. Gordon Green Residential Treatment Program, with a capacity of eight residents, provides trauma-informed treatment and support services to adults living with mental illness complicated by co-occurring chronic health conditions. Gordon Green is an "aging in place" long-term home placement, where we provide services that help our residents live to their fullest abilities and thrive. The program works to address the complex needs of the residents, utilizing an integrated, individualized, resident-centered approach, managed 24-hours-a-day by staff trained in trauma informed care, mental health treatment, crisis intervention, and other best practices.
These positions provide direct service in the residential group care or transitional living setting. As a direct care worker and mental health support specialist, you will:
These positions attend weekly or bi-weekly program staff meetings, and participate in other meetings as necessary. Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Program Director or Program Coordinator.
Schedule: This is a part-time, 20-hours/week position.
Various schedules available. Specific schedule availability will be discussed with the program during an interview.
These positions vary with hours. The program operates on a 24 hour/day, 7 days a week basis. Willingness to have availability on weekends/holidays is required.
