POSITION SUMMARY

Evaluates, analyzes, designs, and maintains company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Provides information and consultation on specific areas of responsibility and on specific business issues. Monitors and audits the HRIS to ensure data integrity. Provide support for clients and develop workflow processes that enhance self service programs. Maintains organization structure to align HRIS with business needs. Performs system maintenance and manages major system updates. Develops reports and metrics for use in data analysis and ad-hoc client requests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support for HR systems including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled audits and activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Partner with subject matter experts across all disciplines (e.g., Benefits, Talent, Payroll, Learning, etc.) to simplify and optimize processes, reduce manual efforts, and enhance business capabilities.
  • Maintains, develops, and revises all HR reporting and metrics queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools for analysis and decision making, statistical data, and other reports as required. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Provides information and ad-hoc analysis as requested by clients.
  • Performs testing and requirements audits for implementations and ongoing system updates.
  • Identifies and investigates opportunities to integrate technology into business practices.  May play a functional role in HR technology solutions that support minor HR processes.
  • Any other job responsibilities requested by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Technology or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Human Resources systems required
  • 2+ years of direct experience working with Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and other respective Workday modules.
  • Familiar with HR concepts, practices and procedures.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data including HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Requires in depth functional knowledge and ability to translate knowledge into programs and projects aligned with organizational strategies. Requires ability to integrate role with other HR strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to lead small project teams for focused projects.
  • Knowledge of HR and the business, able to incorporate the role of HR into business plans and strategies, able to take appropriate actions and influence business response.
  • Occasionally called upon for advice and consultation by business unit, strong and proven track record of sound judgment and credibility. Maintains confidentiality and acts with integrity.
