Job Description Summary

Adobe’s Creative products put the power in the hands of designers, professional creatives and everyday creatives with powerful tools that enhance their efficiency, productivity & ability to express. These tools have evolved, modernised and cut across surfaces of Desktop, web, mobile and are now powered by the magic of AI.


As Vice President, you will oversee engineering and product management teams for CPG India, ensuring they deliver against global priorities while fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and excellence. You will champion India’s strategic role in Adobe’s global Creative Products Group, driving alignment with US-based category leadership and enabling next-generation product experiences. You will also play a key role in the India Management Team, shaping Adobe’s growth and leadership in India.
This role is based in India & will report to our SVP, Creative Products

The Opportunity


As Vice President, oversee engineering & product management teams, driving innovation, customer delight, and a dynamic workplace culture. Define the technology vision for products, champion Creative Cloud Product innovation for India, evolve our products with a lens to meet the needs of current & future users and deliver industry-leading tools.

What you’ll do:
India Leader for Creative Product Group:
• Lead India-based engineering and product management teams delivering for CPG product areas
• Partner with US-based category VPs and their leadership teams to complete product strategies and roadmaps.
• Enable a unified talent view across CPG India, anchored in driving a high-performance culture and developing next-generation leaders.
Leading a team of high-impact engineering for Illustrator & InDesign India
• Drive innovation, product road map & execution of strategic priorities for Illustrator & InDesign
• Facilitate cross-geo collaboration to align strategies and leverage resources efficiently.
• Identify risks, spot opportunities, assess competitive landscapes and emerging trends, and translate insights into pragmatic actions.
Engineering Excellence & Technology Thought Leadership:
• Research and implement strategic technologies to drive product innovation and performance.
• Ensure top quality for software products to achieve continuous improvement and reliability.

Customer Centricity:


• Lead with deep understanding of current & emerging customer needs, building a culture of customer empathy & approach.
• Lead teams in long-lasting ways that reflect a deep sensitivity to customer needs.
• Explore ways to build customer intimacy to build products.


People Management:


• Articulate the vision to feed a shared sense of purpose and direction amongst diverse audience groups.
• Maintain a high-quality bar for hiring top talent. Continuously develop talent and establish a strong leadership bench.
• Evaluate and optimize organizational structures and processes for enhanced efficiency and agility.
• Encourage a culture of continuous feedback, both formal and informal, to support individual and team development.
In addition, as a member of the India Management Team (IMT) will play a pivotal role in defining the strategic direction for India Geo.


What you need to succeed


• Experience to work within a growth business or re-imagining an already established product preferably in the B2C space.
• Ability to create the future, pre-empting emerging needs of the market and adjust the strategy through influencing executive leadership, working closely with VP for ProDesign catgory.
• Experience in performing in senior leadership roles across product management and engineering functions, including leading highly versatile and diverse teams in a matrixed structure.
• Excellence in the areas of customer insight, critical thinking, and product innovation displaying a dedication to customer experience and product quality.
• Executive presence, ability to build strong leadership pipeline, ability to work with & influence organisational executive leadership, ability to plant a flag & lead the org towards a compelling forward-looking vision
