Summary: As an Application Developer in the Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to develop innovative solutions and ensuring that the applications are aligned with the business needs. You will also contribute to key decisions and engage with multiple teams to provide solutions to problems. With your expertise in Apache Spark, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our data engineering projects. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions. - Ensure that the applications are aligned with the business needs. - Contribute to key decisions and engage with multiple teams to provide solutions to problems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Spark. - Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices. - Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark. - Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data pipelines. - Proficient in programming languages such as Java or Scala. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Apache Spark. - This position is based at our HYD office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
