The IT Senior Manager, Digital Health will drive the strategy, development, delivery, adoption, and support of S+N's shared Digital Health platform that will support improving patient care experiences and outcomes along with bringing alignment across digital health, commercial excellence, and marketing

Strong technical capabilities are critical to understand complex data sets, system integration and cloud technologies along with the sharing of information and opportunities throughout S+N. The position also requires strong relationship building skills working with Global R&D and commercial partners across a broad spectrum of product lines. Able to engage in cross-functional activities, collaborate across boundaries both operationally and geographically, and influence decision making with key stakeholders. A deep understanding of the medical device industry's regulation is also required.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and grow the Digital Health IT function, driving the adoption, spread, and scale of key digital health solutions across the organisatio
  • Manage and coordinate multiple vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery and execution of digital health initiatives
  • Streamline solution development by establishing repeatable, reusable services and ensuring strong project coordination across business divisions
  • Provide strategic leadership, shaping digital health roadmaps, identifying commercial opportunities, and supporting business cases and proposal development
  • Embed privacy, security, and regulatory compliance into all digital health platforms and processes, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and meet regulatory requirements
  • Identify and engage champions, stakeholders, and regional sponsors to support adoption and maximise value from digital health solutions, while evaluating emerging technologies that align with business growth
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering future IT leaders and promoting a collaborative, customer-centric culture aligned with organisational value

What will you need to be successful?

  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in defining IT strategy and leading major IT initiatives within large multinational organisations
  • Strong ability to analyse and solve complex business and technology challenges, particularly in the implementation of Digital Health solutions and navigating global regulatory requirements
  • Confidence working with complex data sets, understanding their strategic value, and leveraging insights to drive decision-making
  • Hands-on experience with agile delivery, cloud-based technologies, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and modern engineering practices
  • Demonstrated success governing cross-functional and cross-regional solutions, managing end-to-end processes, and ensuring robust release, on-call, and incident management practices
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to diverse audiences, collaborate across multicultural environments, and drive standardisation and harmonisation globally
  • Industry experience in life sciences or medical devices (preferred), along with a strong understanding of cloud standards, security baselines, monitoring, and compliance requirements
