Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and places outgoing calls, provide relevant information to callers. Redirect call to appropriate colleagues when necessary.
  • Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
  • Maintains filing systems.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data.
  • Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions, or from knowledge of company policy or procedures.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings. Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
  • May complete monthly safety statistics and maintains the OSHA 200 log.
  • May administer timekeeping, attendance and all appropriate colleague records.
  • May serves as the benefits Coordinator for the plant including but not limited to the following activities: answering employee questions and administering paperwork.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-3 years of experience.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Good knowledge of basic office equipment (i.e. copiers, scanners, fax machines, calculators, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Good attention to detail.
