The External Supply/Supplier Collaboration (ESSC) Solutions Manager reports to the Digital Solutions Team Lead and will be responsible for the following functions:
Technical/Digital supporting the solution for procurement of direct materials, including the Supplier Chain Collaboration (SCC) Solution.
Learn and gain expertise in Pfizer’s global model template focusing on SAP solution governing procurement of Raw and Packaging materials for the manufacturing plant, as well as procurement of API, bulk and finished goods from contract manufacturers (CMO).
Learn Pfizer’s Business Processes relevant to ES&SC solution areas.
Support implementation strategy & timelines for next generation Supplier Collaboration solution (SCC).
Engage business user groups to ensure efficient use of the software set.
Participate in and lead Pfizer Direct Procurement/External Supply change projects.
The ideal candidate must bring technical capabilities, an understanding of Agile methodologies, a strong desire to learn & implement new digital technologies and solutions, as well as a keen interest in direct procurement business processes. Key activities include:
Deliver world class External Supply & Supplier Collaboration solutions to Pfizer.
Develop technical specification and estimations for assigned projects.
Conduct business requirements gathering meetings and workshops in an efficient and productive manner and documents minutes, notes and requirements concisely.
Collaborate and partner closely with global Digital teams and business teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
Develop cost estimates for projects, spend forecast and maintain project financial details in Pfizer internal tools and project portfolio systems.
Manage the design, configuration, development, testing and implementation of projects.
Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams located in diverse geographical locations, including the engagement of key business stakeholders to contribute to the business process and system development life cycle.
Develop strong relationships at all levels and with different cultural backgrounds.
Provide technical and functional guidance to key stakeholder
Communicate effectively to manage business expectations.
Ensure compliance to GMP, deployment standards and quality guidelines with regulatory related obligations are executed with the highest standards of compliance.
Leverage agile methodologies for solution planning and project execution.
Assist production support team to fix problems in a timely manner.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT discipline.
Experience working on SAP Material Management Module, knowledge IDOCS and integration points with MRP in PP, APO and Distribution.
Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
5+ years of relevant experience in a technology position(s).
Experienced working for a large corporate organization.
Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycles using agile principles.
Quick learner. Demonstrate initiative and ownership.
Ability to operate in a global multi-cultural environment of time zones and requirements.
Business process acumen understanding of GMP requirements.
Advanced degree.
Experience in SAP DP, SCC.
Experienced working with global applications.
