Apply your education and experience to Micron's SSD Firmware Engineering Internship. Work in an innovative environment with brand new technology and collaborate with industry experts. Gain hands-on experience in RTOS, Embedded Systems, and Fault Tolerant Systems while developing firmware for our Solid State Disk products.

Students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with exposure to Programming in C, HW Architecture, Software Engineering, and Linux/Unix fundamentals can expect a challenging and rewarding internship experience.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and test firmware for SSD products, ensuring flawless performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional team of engineers to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Debug and resolve issues to maintain the robustness of our SSD firmware.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation and training materials.
  • Assist in the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance our SSD products.
  • Support the team in achieving project achievements and work you're doing on time.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with programming in C.
  • Solid understanding of HW Architecture and Software Engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a determination to tackle complex challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ambitious and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully implement projects and meet stringent deadlines.
