Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent degree
Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM), or specialty-specific board certification where applicable

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients across the lifespan
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and injuries
Perform emergency procedures consistent with specialty training
Deliver timely, compassionate, evidence-based care
Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students
Participate in curriculum development and educational programming
Mentor trainees and junior faculty
Lead clinical operations and departmental initiatives
Support provider recruitment, onboarding, and professional development
Participate in strategic planning and operational improvement
Promote patient safety and quality initiatives
Participate in research and scholarly activity
Present at regional or national meetings
Publish scholarly work as appropriate
Contribute to innovation within Emergency Medicine
Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, pharmacy, EMS, hospital administration, and multidisciplinary care teams
Support departmental goals focused on quality, efficiency, patient experience, and operational excellence
