Senior Engineer focused from R&D focused on Microservice-based application development using .NET and Angular.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and build a new internal product and platform that will be used across Clario as a scalable, sellable internal solution. This role sits on a team responsible for internal tools, microservice-based applications, and shared services that power Clario’s healthcare technology ecosystem.

In this role, you will contribute to architecture, develop cloud-hosted services, and help shape a modern platform used across the organization. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, partnering closely with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop scalable, enterprise-grade applications and services using C#/.NET

• Build and maintain microservice-based APIs supporting internal platforms and products

• Contribute to front-end development using Angular for internal tools and user-facing platform features

• Collaborate on the development of a new internal product/platform intended for broad adoption across Clario

• Optimize and maintain SQL Server queries, schemas, and performance

• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable delivery

• Partner closely with Product, QA, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause resolution

• Participate in architecture discussions, proposing pragmatic, scalable solutions

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers

• Document technical designs, decisions, and operational processes

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong expertise in C# / .NET development

• Hands-on experience with Angular (AngularJS or modern Angular)

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices

• Strong proficiency with SQL Server

• Experience building cloud-hosted applications

• AWS knowledge is a plus (not required)

• Experience working in Agile development environments

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical outcomes

• Ability to work from Canada (remote or hybrid, depending on location)
