About You

We imagine that you’re a graduate in engineering, electronics, or IT with a keen interest in rail operations and systems. Perhaps you’ve had some technical, project, or administrative experience—if so, that’s a plus. Your technical background and enthusiasm for learning will be integral as you immerse yourself in the engineering and implementation of our new signalling system.

Your Role as a Signalling IT Test and Integration Engineer

In this position, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Testing and integrating system deliveries on various platforms.
  • Managing the integration of new features into the system.
  • Installing and testing network & security-related equipment (Switches, Routers, Firewalls).
  • Creating, correcting, and updating test documentation (plans, procedures, reports).
  • Leading test activities, analyzing and troubleshooting defects, and supporting ongoing development.
  • Collaborating with the installation team to update site-specific instructions.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and tools.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Knowledge in IT virtualization (VM-Ware), networking, Linux, and scripting.
  • OS-related skills, including basic Linux, Windows, server handling, and scripting.
  • Experience with programming languages and understanding of scripts in Bash, C, C++, or Java.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, engineering, electronics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with railway operations and signalling principles is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Danish or German is a bonus.
  • A proactive, independent working attitude, with the ability to manage your own workload and find solutions autonomously.
