The Division of Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship (SIE) at Nanyang Business School invites applications for a Research Fellow to advance research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and strategic management, with emphasis on strategic decision-making, managerial cognition, and problem formulation.

The successful candidate will participate in organizational field studies and experimental research examining how managers formulate strategic problems and make decisions in complex organizational environments, as well as how artificial intelligence influences diversity-related issues in organizational strategic decision processes. This role integrates behavioral research approaches, field studies, and data analysis to generate high-quality academic research outputs and provides opportunities for collaboration with international academic institutions and industry partners.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in designing and implementing organizational field experiments, supporting project implementation, securing research sites and samples, and maintaining industry research collaborations

• Conduct research on artificial intelligence and strategic management, focusing on managerial decision-making and strategic processes in AI-enabled organizational contexts.

• Process and analyze multi-source survey, experimental, and organizational datasets, and support preparation of research reports and research outputs.

• Contribute to academic publications and research dissemination activities, including research grant applications, academic conferences, and student research supervision where appropriate.

Requirements:

• Education: PhD in Management, Strategy, Organizational Behaviour, or related disciplines.

• Research Experience: Experience in organizational or experimental research and demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.

• Domain Knowledge: Theoretical background and research interest in artificial intelligence and strategic management.

• Analytical Skills: Strong research design and data analysis capability, including experience with statistical software such as R or Python.

• Soft Skills: Strong academic writing, teamwork, and communication skills.

• Track Record: Evidence of academic publications or strong publication potential.
