About the Role

Are you passionate about precision, problem-solving, and continuous improvement? Join Johnson Controls as an Inventory Control Specialist and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory operations at the Echt distribution center, serving customers across EMEA.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for inventory health—managing stock records, investigating discrepancies, and using data-driven insights to optimize processes. You’ll collaborate closely with quality and warehouse teams to troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and drive improvements that keep our operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure inventory data is always up-to-date and reliable.
• Perform Stock Checks: Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify accuracy.
• Investigate & Resolve Issues: Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize Processes: Work with logistics and planners to improve inventory flow and reduce excess or obsolete stock.
• Analyze & Report: Use data to spot trends, create KPI dashboards, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives that enhance inventory control and warehouse efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Education & Experience: MBO+ level and at least 2 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or similar.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to retrieve, combine, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Power BI, Power Automate).
• Problem Solver: Proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and departments.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
