OU Health is seeking a licensed (license eligible) psychologist in the State of Oklahoma to provide direct clinical services in the area of pediatric psychology/behavioral sleep medicine, join a thriving multidisciplinary team, and work closely with physicians and other disciplines. The successful candidate may also participate in a variety of academic opportunities, including involvement in clinical research and training of psychology trainees as well as pediatric, family medicine, and internal medicine/pediatric residents.
Responsibilities:
• Provide pediatric psychology/behavioral health services focusing on behavioral sleep medicine and a variety of health conditions.
• Provide psychosocial assessment and collaboration in development of medical treatment plans.
• Provide brief interventions as part of medical treatment plans, including CBT-I, CPAP desensitization and sleep study preparation
• Attend and collaborate with other professionals in team rounds, didactics, and meetings.
• Provide supervision to psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral residents.
Qualifications:
• Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
• Licensed as a psychologist or license eligible in the State of Oklahoma.
• Specialized training, including certification, in behavioral sleep medicine is desirable.
• Specialized training, including fellowship in pediatric psychology is desirable.
• Experience working in an integrated pediatric health care setting is desirable.
• Experience in research, research training, or program development is desirable.
