Job Description
Position: Site Master Planner P3
As a Site Master Planner at our Manufacturing Division, you will be mainly responsible for;
1. Team Leading (Development of planning process and KPI management)
2. Production Planning and Scheduling
3. Planning Master Data Setting & Control
Team structure: Reporting to Site SCM Manager (7 members)
Location: Menuma Plant (Kumagaya, Saitama)
Job Description:
Supply Chain Management, KPI Metrics and Continuous Improvement:
Set & regularly maintain planning maser data in SAP system to control production planning, capacity planning, procurement planning & inventory projection in SAP. Especially the data fields related to production environment (MTS, MTO…etc) & production method (Rhythm Wheel, Constant Make) should be defined in light of product lifecycle stage progress, independent demand trend & product shelf life as one of key product characteristics. Monitor & study the latest actual demonstrated data on each operational function performance trend from BI system tools to ensure the lead-time & cycle-time data renewal in system planning transaction data in SAP. And also understand product characteristics & E2E supply chain cumulative lead-time to update product shelf life & required remaining shelf life per SKU level.
Develop & manage SKU level profit plan for 24 months in next year & the year after as a yearly planning process following global planning calendar.
Maintain Master Scheduling per SKU level in SAP & Rapid Response in 36 rolling months horizon excluding inside of planning time fence following global planning calendar as a weekly planning process. Review monthly updated MPS (Master Production Schedule) & check consistency with profit plan. Ensure feasibility of dependent demand to MRP (Material Requirements Planning) as MPS is key input to drive MRP.
Analyze capacity resources; production machines, storage, quality testing & releasing for potential constraints in mid to long term to ensure captured capacity shortages to be resolved in master scheduling process in a closed loop process.
Manage & identify IQV (Inventory Questionable Value) in stock on hands as a monthly exercise following IQV calendar & ensure stock on potential risk into block status to allow SAP to exclude block status stock in generating MPS. Manage inventory projection within IRL (Inventory Replenishment Level) range to avoid potential discard risk due to expired stock & stock shortage. And also release request form with GOA approval in case of exceptional system inventory adjustment as the inventory controller.
Be the point of contact for Site Operations and proactively manages the communication and information flow beyond teams, functions, divisions, geographies, external stakeholders, and customers.
Ensure to escalation & cascade events using established company escalation processes. Lead to make consensus with stake holders in E2E SCM process optimization.
Review SCM planning related monthly KPIs (Make / Source / Stock / Leadtime / Capacity / Master Data) to evaluate planning accuracy from cost & resource utilization efficiency point of view. Mitigate accuracy problem to develop improvement plan & action control by use of MPS (Our Company’s Production System) tools.
Understand company vision, mission & core value breaking down to Japan manufacturing division hoshin, department & section objectives, GOM (Global operating model) strategy. Reflect the understating onto one’s daily planning operation bench-mark performance & mind-set to other team members. Provide technical & operational training & coaching to the other team members as Planning SME to drive team performance improvement in day to day planning operations. Support planning lead & act as a substitute when his / her absence.

Required Qualifications:
■SCM general technical knowledge (APICS CPIM Part1 level)
*Minimum 2 years experiences in SCM planning
■ERP system hands on knowledge & skills
■Strong communication & collaboration skills to drive results with cross-functional teams
■Project management/Kaizen experience
■SCM business level English (Equivalent to TOEIC more than 800 level)
*Global meetings, writing and Reading are required.
■Fluent Japanese proficiency level
Preferred Qualifications:
■SAP ECC (MM / PP), APO, BW experience
■Kinaxis Rapid Response experience
