What You'll Get To Do:
We are looking for a System Software Analyst to work on multidisciplinary agile team leveraging modern development practices tackling both new development and operational support of systems. This key role will enable traceability throughout the lifespan of the Sentinel program by integrating data, information, and systems across a hybrid multi-classification environment. This team will utilize eQube-MI, which provides a comprehensive and efficient infrastructure for APIs, enterprise application integration, federation, orchestration, synchronization, and migration and configure, install, and maintain web/clients.
As part of our high-performing and skilled team, you will participate in cutting-edge plans to empower employees and build on success while transforming the client relationship. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, security, integrity, and performance of all systems components, such as applications and database and web servers while operating as a part of a supportive and accomplished application development team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the configuration, installation, maintenance, and support of the eQube application tools, Integrations, and Reports/Portals for development and production environments.
- Maintain the solution architecture and configuration activities with systems like DOORS, SAP, Teamcenter, Cameo, Jira, etc.
- Identity and Access Management: AD, ADFS, Keycloak
- Information security compliance
- Network protocols: HTTPS, FTPS, LDAPS
- Languages: Java, Javascript, Powershell, ASP, DOS, HTML, XML, JSON, SAML
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Plan, test, and deploy system updates and upgrades collaborating with various business functions to coordinate outages as necessary.
- Collaborate with Database Administrators in the ongoing maintenance and structure of eQube data.
- Support, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans as required
- Perform root cause analysis debugging problems with the eQube environment and then work with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Provide End-user support for eQube BI/MI solutions.
- Document all aspects of system support such that knowledge is readily shared among all those tasked with supporting eQube BI/MI instances.
- Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing activities with business partners and end users, as required.
- Support the mentoring, training, and/or demos to end-users, as required.
- Support business readiness and change management activities through go-live and production implementations.
- Develop and maintain technical, change logs, installation guidelines, and operational guideline documentation.
Basic Qualifications
- Principal System Software Analyst: A minimum of 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s in relevant field of study, or 3 years with Masters, or 0 years with PhD (or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.)
- Sr. Principal System Software Analyst: A minimum of 9 years with Bachelor’s in relevant field of study, or 7 years with Masters, or 4 years with PhD or 8 years additional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with a re-investigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain Special Program Access.
- Experience with development using eQube-MI/BI platform.
- Experience with system-to-system integrations using REST services, APIs, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), microservices, etc.
- 3+ years of experience with Application Administration support and incident resolution.
- Knowledge with Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss installation/configuration. Web and J2EE performance monitoring and tuning
- General understanding of Software Lifecycle Process.
- Experience with enterprise application integration, federation, and orchestration.
- Knowledge with relational databases, Java, XML, JSP
- Experience developing in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Availability to travel 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ActiveTop Secret clearance.
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Experience with modern modeling tools, such as CAMEO.
- Experience with requirements tools, such as DOORs.
- Experience sustaining solutions for a hybrid on-premise/AWS environment.
Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00Salary Range 2: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
