Manufacturing Engineer II (Silent-Aire)

What you will do 


You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing manufacturing processes and 
methods required for a premier HVAC manufacturing facility. Key duties include oversite and 
management of large capital projects that increase plant capacity, reduce cost, improve 
productivity, reduce job hazards, and /or improve product quality. Develop and implement 
manufacturing engineering department standards and policies; provide training, coaching and 
support across the department/organization. 


How you will do it 


 Process engineering change requests. 
 Troubleshoot production problems. 
 Assist in trouble-shooting assembly and fabrication equipment. 
 Optimize work-station layout. 
 Justify, specify, and manage Capital projects & equipment. 
 Introduce new products (BOM scrubbing, Manufacturing Trial Lots, Assist in Training, and work with 
Design Engineering on production issues related to Design for Manufacturing). 
 Create and maintain Bill of Materials and Routings (Assembly and Fabrication). 
 Support and/or lead Lean projects. 
 Sets operational objectives and delivering results that have a direct impact on achievement of results 
with the job area or within the context of a wider operational goals. 
 Work to define and explain practices, standards, policies, etc. to others internally 
 Adapts or enhances quality or value in existing methods; make better as part of day-to-day activities 


What we look for 


Required: 


 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related manufacturing discipline 
 6+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience 
 Lean manufacturing principles (material flow, material presentation, process flow, workstation 
design) 
 Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline, integrating theory and principles 
with organizational practices.
