Job Description:

  • Role title: Administration Officer

  • Role type: Max term full time until 30 September 2026

  • Role grade: Administration Officer Level 3

  • Department and location: Correctional Health, Parklea Correctional Centre

  • Salary: $71,072 – 73,287 + super + environmental allowance + salary packaging

About the role

  • Assist with data entry to clinical systems

  • Respond to phone enquiries from staff, other hospitals or doctors, and members of the public

  • Participate in ongoing Data audits as directed by the Senior Data & Reporting Manager

  • Maintain ROI database and follow up on return of information request

  • Provide help and admin support to Nursing staff as requested

About you

  • Experience in a high-volume administrative or customer service role

  • Able to carry out work in word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, both independently and as part of a team

  • Friendly phone manner and good customer service skills

  • Availability to work weekends (currently one weekend on, one weekend off)

About Parklea

In this role you will be based at Parklea Correctional Centre.

  • A major Sydney prison with capacity for 1,800 male patients

  • Our team of clinical & non-clinical employees provide high quality & compassionate care to the inmates
