27.86 -33.43 USD Per Hour

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

  • Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.
  • Associate's degree, preferred.
  • Must have two (2) years of experience with adults and children greater than age 12 who present and are diagnosed with a DSM-V diagnosis.
  • Valid California LVN or LPT license
  • Valid California Driver's License.

NOTE: Must possess a valid California Driver's License and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The LVN / LPT assists with medication support services provided by the psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant. Medication support services may include, but are not limited to; med support appointments, taking vitals, medication education, medication management support and/or administration, including injections. Follow up communication, tracking and documentation for labs, prescriptions and appointments. provides direct client care including medications and basic medical intervention and education, following standard nursing practices. 

Division/Program Overview:

  • 24/7 voluntary residential setting specifically for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) at risk and need a higher level of care, but lower than a psychiatric hospital
  • Facility equipped to serve up to 15 Youth
  • Provides mental health services that include individual therapy, group rehabilitation, medication management, and case management
  • Incorporates the tenets of recovery, peer support, and identifying community connections
  • Connects individuals to educational and vocational services and initiating the process of locating housing
