As a Content and Data Migration Specialist at JCI, you will play a pivotal role in managing the migration of content and data across various platforms and systems. You will ensure that data is accurately transferred, maintained, and optimized to support our operational goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Analyze data and content migration requirements to develop and execute migration strategies.
• Ensure data integrity and quality during the migration process.
• Work closely with IT teams to coordinate and execute data transfers between systems.
• Document migration processes and maintain comprehensive records of data flows and transformations.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on new systems and processes post-migration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the migration process.
• Collaborate with project managers to align migration efforts with business objectives and timelines.
• Utilize data management tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of migration activities.

Qualifications:
 

• 5+ years of experience in data management, content migration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing large data sets and migrating data across various platforms.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices in data migration.
• Proficiency in data migration tools and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
