Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective application designs. The role requires active participation in defining detailed requirements and crafting tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes. This position demands continuous engagement with cross-functional teams to ensure that the developed applications effectively support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency. The engineer also dedicates time to reviewing and refining application designs to maintain alignment with evolving business goals and user expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies within the project scope.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain quality standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Absence Management.
- Strong understanding of Workday configuration and integration capabilities related to absence management.
- Experience in analyzing business processes and translating them into technical requirements within Workday environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to absence management modules.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting tools and data extraction techniques to support business analytics.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize Workday solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday US Absence Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
